Javasko Oy and Sulzer Pumps Finland Oy strategic cooperation

Javasko Oy and Sulzer Pumps Finland Oy have negotiated about a long-term strategic partnership that would enable the continual development of the engineering industries in the Mänttä-Vilppula area. Business growth, the development of new business areas and the continual improvement of competitiveness are sought with the partnership agreement .

Under the agreement, the production activities of the Mänttä pump factory of Sulzer Pumps Finland Oy will become a part of Javasko Oy's oprations. The buildings will become under the ownership of Yrke Real Estate Oy. The factory's current products, the sale of small and medium-sized process pumps for international markets will remain with Sulzer. Most of the factory's staff will be transferred as old employees to Javasko Oy.

The agreement has no effect on Sulzer Mänttä service center operations.

This agreement is the continuation of a long and successful cooperation between Sulzer and Javasko, which began in 1985.

Sulzer Pumps is part of the Swiss Sulzer Group, which specializes in industrial machinery and equipment manufacture and maintenance, and coating technology. Sulzer Pumps develops and supplies centrifugal pumps and mixers worldwide.
